Booster Pack Heroes Interlopers: How to Get Them
Open any pack for a chance at an Interloper, a rare full-game hero. The chance increases with time spent playing the demo.

Open any pack for a chance at an Interloper. Interlopers are rare heroes drawn from packs belonging to the full game. The chance increases as you spend more time playing the demo.
Do you need a special pack?
No special pack is required by the October demo announcement: any opened pack can produce an Interloper. Finding an individual Interloper does not mean its entire pack has been unlocked.
Keep this distinction in mind when looking for Royal Packs. Pulling a full-game hero does not confirm that the Royal Pack is available to buy.
Drop chance and time played
One Collection tooltip in the demo showed 0.6%, with an increase of 0.1 percentage points per 5 minutes played. Your version and time played may differ; 0.6% is not a universal starting rate.
The initial rate, maximum rate, time-counting conditions and any pity system remain unclear. Do not calculate guaranteed pulls from the displayed example.
Duplicates and a completed collection
Whether Interlopers can repeat, or stop dropping after a completed collection, remains unclear. A dry streak by itself does not tell you whether the collection is capped, the rate has changed or you are simply unlucky.
Interlopers versus foil cards
Interlopers describe where a hero comes from. Foil cards are special versions of heroes and tomes. They are different concepts, and the Basic Pack’s ordinary card-pool percentages do not describe either special-drop chance.
